To assist The 100 Black Men of Metropolitan Houston in its efforts to positively impact the citizens of Houston through it's 5 pillars. The foundation for these efforts will always begin and end with mentoring.
Following the vision of the Atlanta and St. Louis chapters of The 100 Black Men of America, The Houston Metropolitan chapter created its own affiliate organization for young professionals known as The Emerging 100 of Houston in 2013.
Since its inception, The Emerging 100 has served the Houston market as the premiere young professional and mentoring organization. Emerging 100 Houston counts among it's members, some of the most innovative companies & industries in the city. Members have proven track records of leadership, both in the community and professional arenas. The selflessness and cohesiveness of Emerging 100 Houston has led to various mentoring and social awareness projects.
Today, Emerging 100 Houston is a vibrant professional association whose main purpose is to adhere to the five pillars of the national organization--mentoring, economic empowerment, health and wellness, education, and leadership development, and also develop the professional and community networks of it's members.
